*****Preeminence of Christ*****

In Uncategorized on December 27, 2011 at 5:04 am

9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood,[c] the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
—Col 1:9-18—

God’s power is His voice

1 Ascribe to the LORD, you heavenly beings,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;
worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.

3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the LORD thunders over the mighty waters.
4 The voice of the LORD is powerful;
the voice of the LORD is majestic.
5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;
the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes Lebanon leap like a calf,
Sirion like a young wild ox.
7 The voice of the LORD strikes
with flashes of lightning.
8 The voice of the LORD shakes the desert;
the LORD shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the LORD twists the oaks

and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”

10 The LORD sits enthroned over the flood;
the LORD is enthroned as King forever.
11 The LORD gives strength to his people;
the LORD blesses his people with peace.

To be free totally from sins, we need to accept the fact that we belong to Jesus completely. We have to crucify the flesh with all ungodly zest that entangle us. We must know our identity in Christ, Jesus dies for our sins and we do not have to be slave of sins. Reject all ungodly ideas that come to our mind before they turn into reality. I have to stand when people see me and when nobody sees me i have to be holy

Identify bottlenecks in your life

In Uncategorized on October 7, 2011 at 1:50 pm

In my Operations Management class, I’ve learned there are many factors that limit the performance of a system and restrict its output. They call these factors constraints.  While there are many types of constraints, I will focus on a particular one that is a bottleneck. A bottleneck is a special type of constraint that relates to the capacity shortage of a process or system, and it is defined as any resources whose available capacity limit an organization ability to meet services or product volume, product mix, or demand by the marketplace. Now, while you reading this, you might ask how a bottleneck or a constraint relates to our spiritual life? Actually it does. First, visualize yourself as an organization and your goals are to preach the Gospel and make disciples. We can call these services since we were call to be God’s servant. Second, God wants us to be holy since He is holy, and I can tell you not many of us have been in that state. As Paul said, “we all fall short of the glory of God” (Rom 3:28). Okay Reader, where does the bottleneck (restriction) take place?  Well, in our spiritual life a bottleneck would be anything that restrains us from accomplish God’s works or slow down our performance.

God blessed you!

Verses for the Day

LOVE YOUR ENEMIES
Luke 6:27-31
 27 “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. 29To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. 30 Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. 31 And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.

Respect your body…

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
“Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

Verses of the day

In Uncategorized on October 4, 2011 at 4:50 am
Luke 6: 31-36
31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. 32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ lend to ‘sinners,’ expecting to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
